Venue Hire

Beyond the Wall will occasionally hire out the Walled Garden for specific events. We also have a marquee available which is suitable for informal lunches or meetings. This can seat up to 40 people. Plants & Produce

The Thornham Walled Garden has over forty different fruit trees, including apples, pears, quinces and medlars. We also grow a variety of plants and herbs. Our students help propagate, conserve and store all the plants and produce. Some of the crop is used to make preserves and chutney’s. Plants and produce are available for sale at the Walled Garden and next to the display centre. Our fruit is also available from local farm shops.

Outreach work

Gardening and Conservation are key elements of our student’s learning. We offer an outreach service where groups of students will provide Gardening and Conservation services for the local community at competitive rates.
