About Us

Our Mission

The mission of Beyond the Wall is the pursuit of the following principles:

Commitment: Beyond the Wall wants to encourage strong interpersonal skills and a sense of hope in the future.

Responsibility: The focus of Beyond the Wall is to empower young people in establishing goals and following through on commitments.

Possibility: Beyond the Wall wants to expand the perspective of young people to make them aware of life’s possibilities.

Support: Beyond the Wall recognises how an individual is influenced by their support system and wants to surround young people in a safe inclusive learning environment.

What we do

Beyond the Wall works with a variety of organisations as a provider, offering training in Horticulture, Conservation and Personal and Social development. The main course we currently offer is City & Guilds Skills for Working Life Entry Level covering a range of units including Land Based options, IT, and Preparation for work.

We offer a safe inclusive environment where clients have the freedom to learn at their own pace and level. Our programmes achieve long term educational targets but also focus on the softer outcomes (personal and social skills) which are essential to help our learners integrate in the community.

All our programmes are bespoke and focused on establishing what is best for each individual learner.
